Please contact parish office for more information 260-563-4750

The Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA) (formerly known as RCIA) is the process whereby those desiring to enter the Church, or complete their initiation into the Catholic Church, are prepared for the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist.  It is a process of deepening discipleship of Jesus Christ and entrance into his body, the Church.

OCIA is for:

  • Non-baptized persons

  • Those baptized in other Christian traditions

  • Catholics who never completed their Sacraments of Initiation.

OCIA involves preparation classes as well as rites that are celebrated in the midst of the community.  These rites are held on specific Sundays in the Fall and during Lent, which welcome those being prepared into deepening stages of preparation and formation.
